We use our pool tables as desks, laundry tables, Christmas wrapping counters, parking lots, and as step ladders to change a light bulb. We clean our pool table off for guests in hopes that they will play, but their excuses range from the standard "I don't play pool" to "I'm no good" to "I would embarrass myself" to "You're probably too good and I would lose" and to my personal favorite from the women, "I'm not going to bend over the table with these 'hims' in the room!"

We are all sports nuts in some manner and the most popular games that we play uses a ball.
